Lies That Dropped Like Acid Rain
yesterday was a sunday... we had service at the singapore indoor stadium... it was really a great feeling to see the whole church coming together as one service... yea... i felt excited... i reached at around 7am... no one there yet... only the ushers and logistics and the drummer was there... haha... laurence was the next to reach... haha... it's been quite some time since i last worked with him... probably cause different location bah... most of the time i would be at studio, following lionel more instead of laurence... haha... great opprtunity of course
setup was done the day before, so nothing much to do when i reached, just to check if the system was working fine a not... most of the time i just waited at the soundboard area waiting for service to start lor... whoa... the carpark was be crazy manz... service was delayed cause we were waited for the people to settle down who were late because of carpark lots... haha... service ended up starting up at 1030... but at least the surrounding and the noise was pleasant to hear and appreciate anyway... also took the advantage to get a cup of coffee from 7-11... haha... refreshening indeed... yea... coffee rocks best
during message time, i took some time to sit with the clique... somehow when i met up with marlon and cryystal initially, i sort of sense something wrong... somehow... when i reached my seat... the environment felt even more down and dull... oh well... after sitting for a while, i just got up to hear pastor's prince sound from around the stadium... haha... for the walkout song... the band did a really rock jumping song... haha... real happening manz... service ended... packing up was fuzz but fun
after that... we went to suntec to setup the sound system back in the rock auditorium... haha... before that we had lunch at secret recipe... gosh... didn't bring that much spare cash with me leh... thanks for the meal, chia hwa... lunch was fun... consisting of lionel, laurence, chia hwa, anthony and me... haha... not the food was consisted of them lah, its the group okay... lol... the time spent was fruitful... we talked a lot... we probably got to know one another better... haha... it was great hanging around with them... and apparently we had to spend some time sitting around, cause of the IMF thing again... the securities wouldn't allow any vehicles to pass through to suntec city unless those authorized, which can only be done so at 1500... plus the time taken to check the contents of the logistics truck and stuff... whoa... we only started setup at around 1530... but i left halfway, at around 1700, cause marlon sent an SOS message... thanks for accepting my request to be dismissed early, lionel
i met with marlon at peninsula plaza... the rest are there lanning as well... the exceptions were jon, sleeping, and marlon, cheryl, vivian and jerald, looking so sianz while waiting for the lanning to finish up their DOTA... stupid DOTA... curse that one day the DOTA network just have a sudden forced shutdown... AMEN... but everyone look so sianz... very sad leh... so i cheered everyone up... haha... got the 5 of us gathered together and started talking about life's like that... haha... initally the chat was dull... but gradually the spirit got higher and higher... yea... i sort of realized it was god behind this plan... actually i would be quite discouraged when i see situations like this... probably he appointed me to cheer the group up for a day like this, so he made my inner me really happy, so when the day comes, i wouldn't be too discouraged, but in turn, spread the godly happiness that's in me... thank you jesus!... seeing the group being happy, i also happy lah... the smiles and laughter soon came back
finally finally finally, the lanning was ended... darryl asked if we would wanna go over to somehow for a buffet dinner... his dad's club was holding some kind of function at SIA training centre or something... apparently we got late... dinner was over already... phew... there was a cafeteria below the function room... marlon and i went there to share a meal together, whereas jerald, jon and darryl just can't get enough of arcade... they visisted their paradise there too... so it was just marlon and i at the cafeteria... it was at least better to have something occupy our stomach then leave it empty, and have my taste buds cry out desperate 'starvation' again... like the day before at dare service...
then after that rushed home already lor... the next day still got school leh... then haven't finish mrs. quek's online assignment yet... luckily i managed to borrow mark's physics notes and drill myself for another few more minutes to finish the assignment... then i just finished bathing, so i decided to go visit some blogs... one of them was cheryl's, and i got a fuller picture of what happened and the gloomy presence around the group earlier at indoor staium service... just sort of got shocked of cheryl's 'split personality' though... she typed two paragraphs of same content... but one paragraph she typed in all CAPS, and the other in small caps... gosh... what conflict is there now... i got kinda stunt for a minute or two... haha... heyz heyz cheryl... kinda chillz manz... life's UPs and DOWNs are very common... so one's life's that perfect anyway... but just remember, our life's may not be perfect, but cause God is GOOD, expect your life gonna be extraordinary... yea
