the take over, the break's over

saturday was a boredom for me... woke up... used the computer for a while... and did my homework... but originally had planned to follow mj go bras basah get some stuff in the late afternoon... but apparently he only woke up in the afternoon, and found out from his friend that the shop closes at 6:30pm... so decided not to go already lor... so whole day stay at home

next day got sunday service... woke up late... so quickly washed up and cabbed down suntec... sianz... reached at around 0740 instead of the agreed 0700 or 0715... so i just stayed at the monitor room saying "hi" to musicians who came in, because the person serving is not there yet... then lionel came in and helped introduced me to the musicians... that helped a lot... somehow the musicians, especially the singers, started talking to me... like when i pass them their mic or their beltpack, some of them would initiate a conversation... which was a good opportunity to establish a good P.R. lor... err... except for the drummer though... he looked kinda "tao" leh... quite scary... shhh... but monitor actually quite fun lah... can get to meet musicians... talk to them and work with them... during 3rd service, lionel asked if i wanted a break from monitor to go foh for 4th service... though i was tired i kinda rejected the offer... i told him i would be at monitor for praise and worship, then message time be at foh... cause after spending 3 sunday services and one bible study service at monitor, i'm starting to get the hang of monitor already... so i dont wanna lose the momentum of doing monitor lor... hehe... quite rare chance of me to be like that lah

as for second service... oh gosh... i felt so guilty lah... i changed battery for the pastor's handheld mic... put on the stage podium but never on the mic... by holy comm, i saw there was no signal on the mic since by right should have... then i got very worried that i really did not turn on the mic... so when pastor lian came up on stage to grab that mic to share a testimony... there was no sound... and i felt so guilty... and in addition, 3rd and 4th service is a video broadcast of 2nd service... and seeing that cut out portion of that "mic-not-on" segment, i was speechless... anywayz life still goes on

back to school... it's a monday... so sianz... monday was fine for me lah... not exactly great and fantastic... it was just average
