DARE Servers' Night

yesterday was DARE Servers' Night... aka Appreication Dinner... oh well... being a Singaporean in which food and people holds a magnet of unlike poles... of course must go lah... haha... the better thing is that we get to eat at Suntec's Olio at only $5

Servers' Night was fun... though only got Joasseph and me from Sound&Video Department there... wonder where the rest of them fly to... so we just sat around and fellowship with some people who walked past us... and drinking a lot of Ice Peach Tea because it gets filled up whenever it's halfway emptied... haha... at first i thought that was why we only paid $5... to make us drink Ice Peach Tea until we're bloated so we wont get to eat much of the food

the food was good... me being a slow eater... i ate even slower to appreciate the food, since it's called "Appreciation" Dinner... haha... after the food was a "yum seng" using our Ice Peach Tea... haha... Coach HeeJhun was like, "everyone hold your cup of Ice Peach Tea high up in the air... those of you who dont have your Ice Peach Tea, please go over to the counter and take one... i dont have so i shall take one for myself... where's my cup? ah yes. here's my cup. my cup is the biggest so none of you can beat me [and he took the lucky draw bowl which shape is similar to our cups.]"... lol... he joker lah... after that was a "blessed draw" [since the world calls it lucky draw but we dont believe in luck]... the last three draws out of the 10 draws were drawn by Evan, Pastor Daniel's son... so cute sia... at first he insisted on taking the bowl rather than the tickets inside... but he sure was smart manz

after that we grabbed some hidden talents out of the crowd of DARE Servers... we had people who played guitar and sang a song they composed themselves... we had people who could translate a song into french... though we dont really know what the french song was talking about... oops... the highlight of the night was actually to spot people who could dance... Pastor Dan was like calling one person from every department to come up... when he looked at the Sound & Video department and was eyeing on Joasseph, i just looked down... thank God he didnt notice me and called on Joasseph and looked away to go on calling other departments... lol... so Pastor Dan would randomly choose songs and they had to dance to it... at first there was a lead dancer then everyone had to follow her... but subsequently, everyone is to be given a chance to step up and dance something before they could go back their seats... that was the embarassing part... lmao... Joasseph from Video and Daryl from Publicity was not caught for the talent of dancing, but however was caught for the talent of sneaking away... when Pastor Dan turned to the stage again, he only saw Percy there... Pastor Dan chose the song from our church's spontaneous worship album... omg... details of embarrassment shall be reserved... you should have seen it for yourself... and Pastor Prince, the worship leader of the album, had better not hear about that as well... lmao

after the dinner... a few of us were looking at the cute little Baby Evan... Coach HeeJhun was carrying him... he was like drilling all over and trying to grab whatever he could grab to put inside his mouth... haha... then the Daddy, Pastor Daniel came... haha... he took over Evan and talked to the rest of us who were there... he commented to Joasseph say, "wah... not bad ah... sound guy got some hidden talents to dance eh... check out your moves just now." then joasseph said, "no lah. i'm from video." then pastor looked at me with those "gotcha!" eyes and said to me, "wah ah... so my sound guy hiding one corner ah."... haha
