sound ministry gathering

last saturday on 26th May 2007... it was our sound ministry gathering... it was a pretty eventful day... but embarrassing sia... i actually ended up in the wrong chalet... then quickly take cab down from there... yea we started with some games as a kick start for us to mingle around... since usually when serving most of us dont meet... it's like come, serve, go... hardly any interaction

so the first game was to say two truths and one lie, and the other person have to guess which is the lie... haha... from this game, we can actually see who tells more lies... anywayz it's pretty good that most people didn't make it, since we're christians under anointed preaching... but there were a few persistent ones too... one of which is our beloved ministry leader... haha... but after a while he was out too... then remaining participants were all from overflow... and someone commented, "overflowing with lies"... lol... but the winner was rewarded with a forfeit... do ten star jumps saying, "sorry i lied" or something like that... oops... the ministry leader was glad he was the last few to be out

the second game was to be given a 5x5 matrix table and to find the items which will form two straight line on the matrix

the third game was to have a name stick onto your back and you are to go around asking questions to find out who you are then find the other partner whose name is related to yours... for example, "soccer" and "david beckham"... anywayz when i got mine, the people were like commenting like, "whoa... no one is bigger than me lor"... then i found i was the "U.S. President"... lol... then i found my partner to be George Bush... yea it was fun too

after which we had food... yea... mjay was pretty loud at this point of time... hehe... but i had a little unpleasant time after my food... clement was like talking to me about dare sound... i'm glad that he feedback to me the news and is concerned for dare sound... but it's just me that's not satisfied lor... the main thing he is telling me is to go back to the basics... yea he emphasized so much that i really got his point... but i'm not satisfied... i'll rather he tell me what is exactly wrong and also tell me how to work about it... i understand i'm still in the learning process, but probably that's why all the more i want to learn the details rather than a sit-on-the-fence kind of answer like what clement gave... i'm not doubting him lah but it's just me to want to get a full answer lah... which i managed to ask issac who was the former sound guy in dare to answer my queries.

after that mjay sort of saw i was a little sad so lionel mjay and i went to beach and talk talk alittle... then mjay sort of commented, "why make things so complicated?"... haha... quite true lor... anywayz we stayed until we saw alvin's wife and their dog named "mocha"... then we walked back to the chalet together

soon after deacon jack was there... then we had a blessed draw... i had third place and got a audio-technica clip-on earphone... which i decided to bless mjay with it... then moving on to the grand place... alvin took out a audio-technica headphone... then jieying exclaimed, "I WANT!"... then really draw her sia... what faith... she was literally jumping around screaming lah... haha... such enthusiasm

then deacon jack sat us down and spent some time talking to us... talking to us about serving and how he appreciates us... and also talked more sound ministry as a whole

yea it was a fruitful eventful day indeeed... hope for more of such organizations.
