the road seems jerky

this weekend was thought to be like any other ordinary weekend... saturday started with extra lessons... we are booked by our science teachers... lol... chemistry from 0800 - 0845, and physics from 0900 - 1130... after that cabbed down to suntec to meet Mjay for lunch and then got DARE service... Benjy wasnt around cause he has to attend some competition thingy... Eugene was late like late because he has some family thingy... thank god Mjay was around... if not i dont know how faithful my pair of hands can be lest they fall off anytime... yea setup was all good except for the Logistics people... oh gosh... there was something wrong with the setup lah... then i asked one of the Logistics guys to troubleshoot the issue... then the guy went to another guy to ask him do it, but the other guy was like, "aiya ok lah ok lah" but still not doing anything... in the end i went to fix things up on my own... when i'm done then the other guy came over to ask what's wrong... in additon, this is not the first time lor

anywayz the sound was awesome... at least to me lah... had a fun time mixing... my first time mixing two electric guitars also, featuring Jen... haha... they're good manz... but it was a sort of challenge for me to mix them... however bad news... the powerpoint for the amplifiers tripped... lol... spent some time fixing that up too... to look on the bad side, it was bad that it tripped... to look on the good side, the sound was nicer after the trip... Mjay and i felt that way... nonetheless, the mix also sounded good because Lionel came down to give some guidance... yea it was useful

after the service, Coach Tammie said she had something to talk to me... she wanted to talk about my serving... she was like saying that it's about time i step down from serving and blah blah... yea of course i get where she's coming from... studies is important, that's Singapore... anywayz will have to get back to her regarding my serving asap... there's just some things i dont quite agree to... but it's controversial so i'll shut up... it's time i buck up, make my stands and make the necessary decisions in and for my life too

anywayz after that Eugene and i went to Mjay's house to stay over... so sunday can go church together... actually i got no official duties also lah...just that Mjay needed assistance since he's doing FOH... got item some more... i sort of thought that saturday and sunday was like gonna be a whole day for me... so i managed to finish all my homework by friday... so wont have to worry about homework on saturday and sunday... haha... quite rare i was determined to finish my work on time... but to maintain or even improve in the momentum for studying for o-level, i persevered... hehe... anywayz Mjay's mix was good manz... or at least for the most of it lah... a little inconsistency though... i like the worship for 2nd service, walkout song for 3rd service, praise for 4th service... haha... no condemnation... we all are still learning

furthermore, Lionel and i had some fun by playing a prank on ChiaHwa... haha... we were cheeky... she and one other friend were attending 4th service lah... then Lionel and i were at the back of the auditorium at door 5 after praise and worship while waiting for Mjay... then ChiaHwa went to the toilet and she didnt notice us... so we planned a prank as such... i went to take her seat... then her friend like look at me really shocked... "err sorry but i think you got the wrong seat"... then i said, "no worries, we're just playing a prank on ChiaHwa."... true enough ChiaHwa came back and i saw her at the side of my eye but she turned around and went off... she actually thought that she had went to the wrong door because she couldnt find a seat... but in the end managed to catch her on time lah... serving has our fun moments too... lmao

but this weekend was a jerky one... i was and am still very much deep in thought about my commitent in serving... but more or less i have decided what i wanted... and i'm also gonna trust God that He will see me through and be faithful... that's about it... gotta end here lah... and talk to Coach Tammie soon
