the open door

wake me up when september ends... no no... wake me up when september holiday ends... haha... today is the second last day of the september holiday already... and i have one word to describe this holiday... the word is... "sianzation"... yes holidays are so sianz... like you feel damn unemployed lah... haha... stay at home nothing to do

however... there were at least some activities to make me feel alive lah... haha

01st September 2007, Saturday -- DARE Service
02nd September 2007, Sunday -- Sunday Service
03rd September 2007, Monday -- Phys class, then go watch Evan Almighty
04th September 2007, Tuesday -- Sianzation
05th September 2007, Wednesday -- Study with Eugene
06th September 2007, Thursday -- Phys class, chill out with DARE friends at East Coast Park... haha
07th September 2007, Friday -- DareGroup outing
08th September 2007, Saturday -- Sianzation
09th September 2007, Sunday -- Sunday service

yea... so that's how my holiday was spent in summarized format... and dont expect me to reproduce this format for holidays in june and december

oh... here's one thing that i've adapted from the movie, Evan Almighty... which was so great a revelation... so i shall share it here... the scene was like the wife and children of Evan ran away from Evan because they thought he was going outta his mind... so while the wife was in a dilemma, God appeared to her and told her... "if someone prays to God for patience, does God give him patience, or does God give him the opportunity to be patient... if someone prays to God for courage, does God give him courage, or does God give him the opportunity to be courageous... similarly, if someone prays to God for the family to get closer, does God make the family become closer, or goes God give them the opportunity for the family to get closer"... haha... this really touched my heart

anywayz got some really really really really really great news... HAHA... last sunday after 2nd service which i sat in... Laurence came to ask me if I think I could handle the sound for the upcoming DARE camp... cause Clement for some reasons couldn't make it... i'm so excited lah... haha... of course i agreed lah... i see it as an opportunity that God has given me to expand my exposure and experience in sound-engineering... like that mentioned above... but it's not confirmed yet lah... Laurence probably need to get back to the DARE leaders and stuff... i'm so excited that i even spent some time to prepare the technical details for the camp... haha... during my free time from my studies of course... i really pray that i can be granted this opportunity... amen!
