Clement was around lah... then he called me to him when he saw me... he asked me questions whether i could handle the sound for camp a not... then i replied like, "yea sure"... then he shot me straight in the head manz... he told me in what ways definitely i will not be able to handle the sound for the camp... blah blah... he sure was so discouraging... but i pick my stand up quite a bit... i rebutted and treated him like transparent... Mjay who overheard the conversation, after that, gave me an advice or two... he told me that if Clement only stated the problem but never help to give you solutions to the problems, he is as good as been the problem to you... true eh... then on further reflection, if Mjay could handle sound at outside gigs and events as young as when he was Sec 3, why cant i?... isnt Clement as good as just shutting me up

work started for me on that saturday evening at about 1930... yea it was great and things run pretty smoothly... much to the pleasure of the fact that it was my first time... i was cooperating with Mjay who was the stage manager... but we only got a time to take a break and have our dinner after all the work was finished... which was about 2130... manz Anthony was right... no wonder he didnt order his dinner together with us

i suppose Laurence was pretty happy... he was just sitting behind me happily eating his share of the McDonald's order and shake leg... haha... nah i'm not that mean... it was well-deserved rest after having coordinating so many things and providing me a proper handover... also received 2 bags of mooncakes... haha... being a Singaporean... got free things offered to you, of course take lor

sunday had to report at indoor stadium at about 0715... however i was a little late and reached at about 0730... not so bad lah... at least Anthony was assisting me and help me get ready for the service... Mjay actually reached later than me... he reached about 10mins after me

however the day didnt really start very well... i made an error right in front of Laurence... didnt realize so until Mjay saw the problem then pointed it out... Laurence was fierce manz... according to Anthony who was on stage... everyone on stage knew that i had been scolded... even the choir were stunned to see what happens next... haha... anywayz from there... things continued smoothly again... though the environment was still kinda tense

after that had a little buffer time... finished all the final checks at about 0845... doors open at 0900 and gotta standby at 1000... during this time, the excerpts of the upcoming live worship album was being played... haha... it sounded great manz... and also from then the environment start to become less tense... haha... Laurence and i started to talk talk smile smile... phew... and service and being the monitor engineer was great too

after that spent some time fellowshipping with Lionel, Foon, Mjay, and Jieying... went to have lunch at Siam Kitchen at Bugis... then went to studio... and we called it a day
