what to do

ok... who is gonna spend one week of their life studying for exams... in particular... for MCQs... oh well... im sure most people will just take a day or two to just flip flip through textbooks and ten-year series... but are they gonna spend one whole week doing that?... that's because the break between my second-last day of my o-levels and that of the last day is exactly one week... gosh it's such a drag... so anyway... i'll take it as technically that my o-levels are over lah... but of course will still flip flip through my books lah

on 31st October was asked to attend DARE's production meeting... by right only for department leaders lah... but sound and video no department leader, so key personnel were to attend... joasseph and i... hehe... our first time there... but good also lah... let ourselves see how DARE operations are running for ourselves so that we understand the picture... also heard that the neutral observer for the previous 2 DARE services found my sound not nice... so i told myself i've gotta change my style of mixing

then coming saturday got DARE service.. yup i did managed to change my mix and it still sounded great to me... haha... and also for the first time i miked up the kick drum in DARE service... haha... used a SM57 since got spare as only had one electric guitar... got a pretty good kick sound... then also the first time the GEMS moving up to DARE service lah... so estimated attendance was 500-600... so i thought the next instrument that would be drowned in such a big crowd would be the kick lor... hence my decision to mike up kick... next DARE gonna have a DARE choir up on stage... sianz... doubt that small little soundboard we use for DARE service have spare channels for the choir mics lor... haha... see how things go lah

since the start of last monday... have been starting to feel overwhelmed by the feeling of sianzation liao... last monday was my second last-day of o-levels lah... and like i mentioned... gotta wait for one more week for the next and finally the last paper... what my friend commented was so true lor... waiting for o-levels to come is a short time... waiting for o-levels to end is a long time... haha... so anyway during this time... i'll just be having pretty much nothing to do... so no life lor... am also considering whether to come back to serve full-time in sound ministry this coming sun a not

yesterday hanged out with Eugene go vivo... watch movie "The Game Plan"... nice movie... then later go rooftop slack... haha... it's been some time since i last been there... cause of examinations, what else... almost forgot about the place liao

o-levels seems to be rather easy to me... but i just hope they dont moderate too high and make the A's so distant to reach... lol
