2007 overview

yea... 2007 had just passed away... it feels as though it was just a wink of an eye... but indeed it has been a great year... a year of blessings... a year of enjoyment... a year of favor... and not forgetting... a year of walking with Jesus Christ and living within my Savior's love... a love that pinned my Savior King on the cross... He wasnt murdered... He wasnt captured... He wasnt forced... but He laid down His life willingly and did it all because of love... so that His righteousness and all that He is is now ours to possess and enjoy

actually coming to think of it... people often say that time flies when they look back at the events that took place in the past... it wasnt all true that time really flew... it was just because that people often only see the incident as a whole but neglect the details that fill up the gaps in between... when the details are added and given weight to... the event feels as though it was longer and more worthwhile... haha... just my opinion lah

even though 2007 is now gone, it has been good... though there were incidents where it was disappointing and unpleasant... there had been way more good memories... truly, the Bible mentioned "evil DAY" and "good DAYS"... as the grammar suggests... there will be evil days... but i believe it is only a short time or just a season... but surely the good days will be much more and much better than the evil days

what does 2008 hold for me?... i also dont know... but one thing i know... 2007 is not as good as 2008... 2008 is going to be better, more fun, more favored, more blessed... because Jesus Christ walks beside me and leads me by hand... thank you Jesus... haha

btw... this new year wasnt spent alone at home in front of my computer waiting for the clock to strike midnight... Wenxuan had invited Josh Lim, Claire, Tecktee and me, and a few others who couldnt make it cause they're spending their new year somewhere else... met Tecktee first at Pasir Ris MRT at 1445 then went to Wenxuan's/Wenhui's place... Josh and Claire only came around 1930 when we had Pizza Hut for dinner... then we watched I Am Legend on the internet... though the quality sucked big time and the video and audio was not in sync... but at least we get the story... lol... then at about 2330 we cycled to Pasir Ris Park where we fellowshipped a little... i just learnt that the ships have a culture where when it's midnight on a new year day, they will sound their horns... haha... then we spent some time spamming our loved ones with sms-es of a word of blessing for the upcoming new year... then we went to Pasir Ris Park to play a little and climb the web thungy... hanged around there till 0430... then we cycled back to Wenxuan's/Wenhui's place... haha... it turned out that Josh, Claire and Tecktee all gotta leave at about 0600... so i stayed over alone... haha... but doesnt really matter lah... i fell fast asleep when i flew on the bed... the bed was very comfortable... but just not as comfortable as the hotel we went for DARE EJ3 Camp... hehe
